Re: Side Roll -Mirza and Katie-
Mirza looked at Katie. She suggested they ask Terry for assistance. Terry and Mirza had a complicated relationship. Terry was thankful that Mirza had played a role in rescuing his son, however he had a general distaste for the Basil swordsman. Mirza didn't help the situation much. He frequently bullied the half-elf and purposely caused a ruckus just to get the old man's blood boiling. Mirza found it amusing, but he always paid the half-elf and respected his property. Mirza wasn't sure if Terry would be so kind to Mirza, but he would do anything for Katie; Still, Mirza wasn't sure if he wanted Terry to play music for him.
He thought for a moment, trying to figure an alternative music source than Terry. He figured Tuvera would probably have something magical in his half finished tower that could play the perfect songs. Maybe the Vedalken even had some Basil music.
"Maybe Tuvera has better music. Terry doesn't exactly get along with me." Mirza said admittedly.

Re: Side Roll -Mirza and Katie-
Katie shivered slightly from the chill. She wrapped her black cloak around herself. She then looked at Mirza and smirked.
" Lead the way.... Prince " she smiled cockly.
Tuvera wasn't Katie's favorite person. He always lived higher then most people in this crumbling town. He was a different race, with no emotion... And no nose or ears which kinda weirded the poor girl out.
Katie had relaxe a bit about the blue man, she used to hate him, despise him, now he just excepts that he is good and wants the best for the town.
" better not put me in a dress" Katie then spoke, the thought jumping in her head

Mirza always found himself amusing. He truly thought he was a genius when it came to sporting events and athletics. He smiled and placed his hand on his hip.
"Race ya to the tower..."

Re: Side Roll -Mirza and Katie-
Katie gave the energetic man a look.
"Oh, i don't know.." she then smirked and took off running. She leaped threw the bushes and over logs as if she was a deer. The girl smiled as she found the cobblestone road, now just straight! Hopefully... the desert man wouldn't get any ideas...

Re: Side Roll -Mirza and Katie-
Mirza was surprised at Katie's speed. He dashed to keep up. No one was faster than he! He dove through some bushes and rolled into a leap as he bounded over a thick log. He twirled in the air and landed on his feet. He stumbled slightly as he regained his balance, but got back on track in a second. He saw Katie running on the cobblestone and he knew without here horse he could win this.
Mirza pushed his legs as hard as he could and caught up to the young ranger. He winked at her as he started to pass her.

Katie looked over at the young man, she had a huge smile on her face...then he winked and the girl immediately blushed... slowing down for a second. Katie get yourself together! she shook her head and pushed herself, surprisingly keeping up with his speed. Now, he was ahead of her by a couple of inches but she was still keeping up...
Katie loved to run, and she was fast but she even knew she wouldn't be able to keep up with the young...handsome man

Re: Side Roll -Mirza and Katie-
Mirza was taking the lead. He always took great pride in his athleticism. He loved to win and he often did as a child. It was common practice for children of Basil nobility to engage in competition. Mirza won often and always tried to win without using his status.
This time Mirza would not win. Just before reaching the wizard's tower, Mirza would run into a small rock and bash his toe pretty hard. Mirza fell strait onto his face and slide across the dirt. His head made sudden contact with the tower and upon so was teleported into the tower. Mirza found it odd that a single large contact counted as an activation for Tuvera's favorite spell.
The act of teleportation is rough enough without a splitting headache and crushed toe. The twisting and turning motions that come with moving through space and time caused his headache to be much more severe.
Mirza felt nauseous as he arrived in the antechamber. The statue stood tall as Mirza lay on his back. He reached up to cradle his head, but not before scanning the room. Katie was not yet present. He had won. He smiled as he closed his eyes for a moment.

Re: Side Roll -Mirza and Katie-
Katie gasped as she watched the desert boy fall on his face and disappear!
"Mirza!" Katie screamed before pushing herself forward. Just then a zap of blue happen and next thing she knew she was in a antechamber lying on her stomach... Gosh she really needs to learn how to land...
Katie blinked her blue eyes, trying the get rid of the temporary blindness she had just received.
"Mirza?" the girl squeaked before her blurry vision started to fade. Katie patted the ground and felt around until her hand brushed his. at this time her vision had fully come back.
"Are... are you ok?" she panted. her eyes where wide and it was clear that she was worried about him. Katie scooted closer and leaned over his face.
"Mirza?" she whispered.

Re: Side Roll -Mirza and Katie-
Mirza opened his eyes to see Katie over him.
"Are ...you ok?" she asked "Mirza?"
He rubbed his eye and rolled to one side, pushing Katie to the side.
"Yeah..." he muttered. He groaned as he looked at his bloodied toe. The nail had been broken and he could see the toe beginning to turn black and blue. Mirza attempted to stand. Bearing weight on the toe was excruciating, but Mirza would manage. He could walk on the side of his foot until the wound healed. He looked at Katie. He was certain she would laugh at him, but her face was filled with worry. It had been a long time since someone looked at him like that. The feeling made him feel warm inside.
Her dance lesson! Mirza could not dance, let alone teach dancing, in this condition. He frowned for a moment.
"I'm sorry Katie. With my foot like this I cannot teach you to dance. I will teach you though! It is important that a lady know how to dance." he said as he sat down at the base of the Kytril statue. He yawned as his buzz was wearing off.

Re: Side Roll -Mirza and Katie-
Katie sighed with relief and shook her head. Mirza had pushed her away and was now sitting up. At least he's not dead. Katie stood up and wiped her legs.
"I'm sorry Katie, with my foot like this i cannot teach you to dance. I will teach you though, it is important for a lady know how to dance" He said to her. Katie watched him yawn then chuckled to herself. A lady? Yep a lady that love the mud. Katie blinked her eyes and looked around.
This room was really pretty. Kinda like the one she first entered when they all met. Except this was more of a elegant room.
"It's fine. " she finally broke the awkward silence. the girl started to walk into another room, her head was tilted back and she was staring at the ceiling, where paintings of Pegasus and white doves where.
"It's really pretty here... What room are we in?" she asked calmly

Re: Side Roll -Mirza and Katie-
Mirza looked up to see Katie had walked into another room. He pulled himself up to his feet and followed behind her. His toe was still in pain, but it would feel better by morning. Mirza walked with a slight limp as he followed Katie into the next room. It had the same elegance as the rest of the tower. Tuvera certainly had a taste for the arts. The room was large and open. It had a large white pillar in each corner and had a grey tile floor. The ceiling was painted with a massive mural of winged horses and white birds soaring through a mid-day sky. There were several other paintings hanging on the walls. Each with similarly neutral, calming images. Mirza guessed this was a hall for events and gatherings. Although the room was empty Mirza could imagine that with a little magic the room could be set up with any manner of furniture to accommodate what ever event may take place in here. What was most odd about the room was the slight breeze that came seemingly from nowhere. This was likely a magical effect of the tower meant to add to the calming aura given off by the colors and the architecture.
Katie was slowly taking in the beauty of the room.
"It's really pretty here... What room are we in?" she said.
"It looks like a hall of some sort. Maybe they have balls or meetings here. Its similar in ways to the halls of Al'Rasheed." He said revisiting his homeland.
Al'Rasheed's palace was filled with lavish halls and meeting rooms. They were all vast and decorated with Basil art and architecture. Mirza could remember the gold pillars with their sapphire inserts running along the entirety of the main hall. It was slightly larger than this room, but Mirza felt more at ease in Tuvera's hall.

"It looks like a hall of some sort. Maybe they have balls or meetings here. Its similar in ways to the halls of Al'Rasheed." said Mirza
Katie looked over her shoulder and stared at him, slighty confused.
"Balls?" She asked, before chuckling. "Those only exists in fairy tales." She giggled innocently before turned back around and walking in the huge room. The girl had never heard of these events that occurred in kingdoms, usually a prince or princess get to dance around with everyone, usually meeting a beautiful maiden or charming man, in which they fall in love and live happily ever after.
"Maybe we should put wings on Ranger" she joked as she continued to walk in the huge room, looking at the white horse with elegant white wings, that probably carried the beast across the skies.
"Pegasus." Katie mumbled under her breath as she looked at the creature. She read about these animals. How they where like the Gods servants, beautiful angelic animals that come to get a soul of a good person, no matter what race actually.
Katie walked up to the painting and placed her hand on the winged creature
"It's beautiful..." She whispered to herself. She probably already said this but now that she was closer, she could see every brush stroke. Gosh is was a sight
